DUPR = Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating
To join the Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating (DUPR) system, you typically follow these steps:
Visit the official DUPR website www.mydupr.com and register for an account. Alternatively download the free DUPR App from the App store or Google Store.
Click on Sign Up > Create an account - enter your details > Finish
Once you have an account, click on clubs > Search - Sunshine Coast pickleball Club > Join

Whether you're a seasoned pro or a beginner eager to learn, our club offers regular meetups, organised tournaments, and social events for everyone to participate and bond over their shared passion for pickleball.
- Rating Calculation:The DUPR system utilizes an algorithm to calculate your initial rating based on your self-assessment or any existing ratings you might have. This initial rating helps determine your position within the rating system and provides a baseline for further adjustments.
- Participation:To improve and maintain your DUPR rating, actively participate in DUPR-sanctioned tournaments, matches, and events. Results from these competitions will be used to adjust your rating over time, reflecting your performance and progress.
- Track Progress:The DUPR system typically allows you to track your rating progress through your player profile. You can see how your rating changes as you compete and improve your skills.
How to sign up and get a Pickleballbrackets profile
Go to Pickelballbrackets website
Click on Sign up button on top right hand side
Add your email address and click on Get Started
Add your first and last name, then choose and enter a password
Click on Get Started
Go to your email to see instructions on how to complete your signup
From the email, click on Click here to Verify, you will now be taken back to Pickleball Brackets to complete signup
Add your date of birth and gender
Add your mobile number
Select Country CodeAUS (+61) e.g. if your mobile number is 0407 123456,
- for Area Code - add 40 (leave the “0” out)
- for Phone - add 7123456
- Select YES for texts
- Select time zone - Australian Eastern Standard Time
Add Emergency Contact details
Add your skill level for the Doubles, Mixed Doubles, Singles, Skinny Singles - Don't worry if you have not ever played singles, just add what you think your skill level is based on the Self Rating Guide ( found in “Download Flyer” in Details of Tournament)
For City, Country, State - add Caloundra, Australia, Queensland
Add your Pickleball Australia Member Number - if you don't know what it is please email us
Ignore all the other fields.
Click on Complete Account Setup
Click on Continue - you will be taken to the Login page of Pickleball Brackets
Click on Login at top right hand side
Enter your email address then click on Get Started
Enter your password then click on Log In
On the top menu, Click on Menu List (right hand top corner on a smart phone) next to Hello otherwise: Click on Clubs Click
On search icon enter Sunshine Coast and in the Country search field, select ALL
Then click on SEARCH
You will see our club logo
Click on the logo and then click on Become a Member. You will receive an email when Pete Nichols approves you
